Cocaccia is a made-up word that plays with the Italian word focaccia and the Catalan word coca.
Here at Cocaccia we found this invented word cool and so it became our domain and brand name.

A Catalan coca —nothing to do with the stimulant herb with the same name!— is a traditional pizza-like pastry from the Catalan Countries that can be savory or sweet. But unlike most pizzas, it mostly has a longish rectangular form and rarely contains cheese as most Italian pizzas.
